Direct to Garment

How does it work?

Also known as DTG printing, direct to garment printing is the process of printing on textiles using specialized inkjet technology.  DTG printing is well suited for smaller production runs, especially those requiring unlimited colors or when trying to achieve photo realistic qualities.  Because there are no film or screens to create, there are no set up fees. How does this work?   Imagine the same way your desktop inkjet printer functions.

What does it feel like?

Because this process uses only water based garment ink, the fabric fibers will absorb the ink, resulting in a soft hand (minimal tactile feeling).
You can compare this application to the water based inks used in traditional screen printing.
